Working with beadwork, leatherwork, quillwork, and illustration, Skye Paul’s practice explores ancestral techniques and traditional materials while incorporating designs and ideas influenced by pop culture. Her artistic practice expresses a new generational perspective that respectfully sustains traditional skills and knowledge. Skye is a Dene artist currently residing in Toronto with her partner and children.
